Xu Shangmiao, Director of the Shanghai Institute of Medical Devices, noted that "Belt and Road" partner countries have strong demand for high-value medical equipment. However, the global market for such devices often suffers from inadequate quality assurance and lack of after-sales support. China produces a wide range of high-quality, cost-effective medical devices. After professional processing, these products can reliably meet the diverse needs of importing countries.

The Medical Devices and Health Industry Center of the Global Digital Trade Exchange was established jointly by the Global Digital Trade Exchange, Shanghai Medical Device Research Institute, Shanghai Junyuan Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., and other organizations. In the future, it will build innovative medical device exhibition and training centers in over 30 countries worldwide. Through immersive equipment demonstrations, hands-on training, and efficient technology transfer, the center aims to train international medical professionals and support the development of a sustainable global healthcare ecosystem.
