Group leaders hold discussion with Italian Esports Association

On 8 29, at the joint invitation of the Global Digital Trade Center and IESF China Representative Qu Zhengchao, a delegation led by Daniele Di Lorenzo, President of the Italian Esports Association (accompanied by his wife), Vice President Gianfranco Rava, and Santoro Massimo, Vice President of the World Esports Development Alliance, visited Beijing. The visit was followed by business talks with Li Yu, Chairman of the Digital Trade Committee of the China Asian Economic Development Association and President of the Global Digital Trade Center; Guo Guangliang, Director of the Trade Center; Liu Wensheng, Director of the Financial Settlement Center; Pan Zhaojun, Deputy Director of the Medical Devices and Health Industry Center; Wang Liusheng, Deputy Party Secretary of Anhui Broadcasting Group; and Wang Xiaohui, Deputy General Manager of Anhui Broadcasting Group.

During the meeting, both parties held in-depth discussions on strategic cooperation in the China-Italy esports industry, cross-border e-commerce, and supply chain synergy. Preliminary agreements were reached on establishing an esports center, collaborating on events, jointly training talent, and advancing sports rehabilitation. Next steps will focus on launching these initiatives in Hefei, Anhui.

Next, all parties will collaborate to advance practical cooperation in the esports industry between China and Italy, using esports as a catalyst to foster long-term economic partnership and shared development.
