China-Pakistan Industrial Cooperation Talks, Co-hosted by the Global Digital Trade Exchange Center, Reach Multiple Agreements in Beijing
On 2026-8-17, at the invitation of the Global Digital Trade Center (GDTTC), a delegation from Pakistan's Spectrum Group (My E-Car/Go GreenRide) and Land Pakistan Group visited Beijing to attend the China-Pakistan Industry Cooperation Forum. Both sides reached multiple consensus agreements on key areas including the site selection for the Asia Trade Pavilion, real estate infrastructure, modern agriculture and Halal food, mineral development, and new energy vehicles.
On August 17, 2026, at the invitation of the Global Digital Trade Transaction Center (GDTTC), a delegation from Pakistan's Spectrum Group (My E-Car/Go GreenRide) and Land Pakistan Group visited Beijing to attend the China-Pakistan Industrial Cooperation Seminar. Both sides reached consensus on cooperation in site selection for the Asia Trade Pavilion, real estate and infrastructure, modern agriculture and halal food, mineral development, and new energy vehicles.
The meeting was chaired by Li Yu, Chairman of the Global Digital Trade Exchange Center. Attendees included Vice Chairman Liu Xiuming, Trade Center Director Guo Guangliang, Council Member Cao Ge, and representatives from various industrial centers of the Global Digital Trade Exchange Center. The Pakistani delegation was led by Khalid Mahmood, Chairman of Pakistan's Spectrum Group, and comprised core enterprise representatives from the construction, real estate development, engineering infrastructure, new energy, and mineral resources sectors.

Regarding the location of the Asian Trade Pavilion, the parties explored the implementation conditions and functional positioning for a Pakistan National Pavilion within the trading center. They expressed expectations to utilize this permanent platform to showcase high-quality Pakistani products and industrial advantages, establishing a regular window for display, negotiation, and trade matching between enterprises from both countries. In the real estate and infrastructure sector, both sides discussed viable pathways for project collaboration and industrial synergy, addressing Pakistan's urban development and infrastructure needs, and recognized significant potential for further exploration in this area. On modern agriculture and Halal food, exchanges focused on agricultural resource endowments in Pakistan and market demands in China, covering topics such as agricultural trade cooperation and Halal food market alignment. Both parties agreed that the agricultural sectors of China and Pakistan are highly complementary with broad prospects for cooperation. In mineral development, discussions centered on Pakistan's rich mineral resources and the prospects for cooperative exploitation, exploring directions and models for resource-based projects. Finally, in the new energy vehicle sector, the parties examined Pakistan's industrial layout in new energy and green mobility, discussing initiatives related to new energy vehicle promotion and green travel cooperation, with the goal of advancing substantive progress in relevant collaborations.

In real estate and infrastructure, both sides explored viable pathways for project collaboration and industrial synergy tailored to Pakistan's urban development and infrastructure needs, recognizing significant untapped potential in this sector. On modern agriculture and halal food, leveraging Pakistan's agricultural resources and China's market demand, the parties discussed trade cooperation and halal market integration, unanimously affirming strong complementarity between China-Pakistan agricultural sectors and ample room for expansion. Regarding mineral development, both sides exchanged insights on Pakistan's mineral resource advantages and prospects for joint exploration and utilization, identifying key directions and models for resource-based projects. In new energy vehicles, aligning with Pakistan's strategic layout for new energy and green mobility, the parties examined opportunities to advance EV adoption and green transport initiatives, expressing commitment to driving tangible progress in this area.
During the meeting, Chinese and Pakistani officials exchanged culturally significant souvenirs. Both sides reaffirmed that China-Pakistan friendship continues to grow stronger. The talks aimed to deepen practical industrial collaboration in Phase II of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), leveraging the platform advantages of the Global Digital Trade Center to promote complementary strengths, mutual benefits, and shared success, thereby advancing industrial cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting, Chinese and Pakistani representatives exchanged culturally themed commemorative gifts. Both sides affirmed that China-Pakistan friendship grows stronger over time.
